The Vision Behind Shih Travels
After years as a travel agency owner-operator, I realized the industry was missing a space that truly honored the autonomy of the advisor and the curiosity of the traveler.
Shih Travels is my creative space.
I created Shih Travels with the intention to fill that void — not just as an agency, but as a creative ecosystem. A place where knowledgeable experts plan safe, exciting, deeply personal trips, and where the women who design them are free to build their own businesses on their own terms.
We operate on a two-fold philosophy: fierce independence for our advisors, and genuine inspiration for our travelers.

What makes you different from any other online travel agency?
We design itineraries around destinations our advisors have personally explored, we don’t restrict planners to preferred-supplier lists tied to commission tiers, and we don’t operate on sales quotas — so the priority is the right journey for you, not an upsell.
Do you only plan trips to the destinations you list?
Not at all. Through our global network and industry partnerships we can design custom itineraries for virtually any destination. We highlight these particular places because our advisors have explored them personally.
Is there an annual sales quota?
No. Our collective exists to bring together passionate, like-minded advisors who want a supportive community behind them — not corporate targets hanging over them.
